Principal Investigator
Raphael Schneider, MD PhD
Dr. Schneider is clinical neurologist at the BARLO MS Center at St. Michael's Hospitial. He is interested in understanding prognosis of Multiple Sclerosis and is motivated by the potential to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives through research that informs care and empowers patients.
In his spare time he loves to cycle, play the piano and engage in new languages.
Dr. Schneider is from the Lake Constance Region of Germany.

Research Coordinator
Koroboshka Brand-Arzamendi
Koro is a research coordinator, and has been working in the Schneider lab since 2020. She dedicated to uncovering biomarkers for MS, a devastating disease that has proven difficult to cure. In the lab, she is actively involved in creating a biobank of plasma, serum, and spinal fluid samples from patients with MS.

In her spare time, Koro enjoys photography, painting, biking, and spending time with her American bulldog.

Koro is from Mexico City, Mexico.

Postdoctoral Fellow
Erandi Munasinghe, PhD
Erandi is a postdoctoral fellow at Keenan Research Center at St. Michael's Hospital. She is interested in improving tools that help detect and understand disease such as diagnosic immune assays and cell culturing. Her project is focused on understanding how Epstein-Barr Virus infection contributes to the development of Multiple Sclerosis.
In her free time she loves to cook from scratch and crotchet.
Erandi is from Matale, Sri Lanka.

PhD Student
Gabriela Blaszczyk, MSc
Gabi is a PhD Student at the Keenan Research Center. She is passionate about developing translatable models to better understand human disease and accelerate drug discovery. Her project is focused on finding T-Cell biomarkers within pre-clinical Multiple Sclerosis patients.
In her spare time she's a ski patroller and loves to try different foods around Toronto.
Gabi is from Toronto, ON.

Undergraduate Student
Aaron Jin
Aaron is research student at the Keenan Research Center. He is interested the interplay between autoimmunity and the underlying mechanisms of disease pathogenesis. His current project focuses on understanding the immune landscape within pre-clinical Multiple Sclerosis.
In his spare time, he loves to watch movies and play soccer.
Aaron is from New Jersey, USA

Undergraduate Student
Jessica Ye
Jessica is a research student at the Keenan Research Center. She is passoniate about neuroimmunology, particulate on how the immune system responds to injury and disease. Her project is focused on characterizing Epstein Barr Virus gene expression in immune cells from people Multiple Sclerosis.
In her free time, she likes to read and walk her dog.
Jessica is from Markam, ON
